Lecturer

Niki Tertipi is a Lecturer at the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of West Attica. She is a founding member of the laboratory entitled “Laboratory of Dermatology-Esthetics-Laser Applications” in the field of Aesthetics and Cosmetology. She graduated from the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a Master’s Degree in Sports Organization and Management from the University of Novi Sad. Her doctoral thesis was carried out at the Department of Biomedical Sciences of the University of West Attica (2022) and is entitled “Assessment of the incidence of dermatological diseases in volleyball athletes and volleyball athletes with special needs”. She worked at the Technological Institute of Athens from 1998-2018 at the Center for Foreign Languages and Physical Education, with placement in the University gym and in the Department of Aesthetics and Cosmetology where she taught the courses Aesthetic Gymnastics I, II, III by assignment. She worked at the Higher Educational Institution of Piraeus Technological Sector from 2011-2018 and in Public Primary and Secondary Education. She worked at the Greek Police Officers School. Her research and scientific interests are focused on the study of dermatological problems faced by athletes and athletes with special needs, as well as on the treatment of aesthetic problems in Dermatoaesthetic through exercise programs.
